A mild steel, all position rod. Use on AC or DC reverse polarity welding current. The strong arc force of the electrode produces deep penetration. Fast freezing or rapid solidification of the metal facilities welding in the vertical and overhead positions. Light slag eliminates slag holes that are prevalent on some applications with other rods. For use in a wide range of applications – plain or galvanized tanks, steel casting repair, machinery parts construction, pressure pipe, ect. Operating Amps: 120-180

A mild steel, all position, general purpose rod. Can be used on AC or DC (either polarity) welding current. Deposits easily and smoothly producing medium to shallow penetration. Excellent where there is poor fitup in the joint. Small sizes are well adapted to low heat on thin metals. Medium heavy slag is easily removed and provides for excellent welding cleaning action during the welding process. Use on all types of mild steel fabrications or repairs where ease of operation and good appearance are required. Operating Amps: 120-190

A high speed, iron power type rod. Can be used with AC or DC (either polarity) welding current. This electrode has has smooth arc characteristics, good arc stability, low spatter and produces medium to low penetration. Use for high speed all position welding. Suitable for all types of mild steel fabrication, particularly sheet metal, ornamental iron work and on poor fitup joints. This rod is becoming very popular with more and more users. Operating Amps: 90-150

A low hydrogen iron powder rod that produces high quality x-ray welds. This rod can be used in all positions on AC or DC reverse polarity welding current. This electrode is recommended for welding hardened steels where no preheat is used and on cold rolled steels normal exhibiting excessive porosity when welded with conventional electrodes. The low hydrogen content of the weld metal produces high strength and toughness. The use of this rod will eliminate cracking down the center of the bead, under bead cracking and peeled welds. Operating Amps: 120-200
